Trash Talk exists to help people and businesses understand what the public internet says about them. It is not a people-investigation tool.

You may use Trash Talk to monitor

• Yourself
• A business, brand, or product you own or represent
• A public figure or entity you have a legitimate reason to monitor (e.g. a client with written consent)

You may NOT use Trash Talk to

• Monitor a romantic partner, ex-partner, neighbor, or private individual
• Surveil employees, contractors, or job applicants
• Monitor children or minors
• Attempt to identify anonymous posters or "unmask" accounts
• Harass, threaten, dox, or coordinate action against any person
• Compile lists of "enemies," "haters," or opponents
• Automatically post replies drafted by our AI without human review

Enforcement

Violations may result in immediate account termination without refund. We may report credible threats of harm to appropriate authorities.

If you believe someone is misusing Trash Talk to monitor you, email us. If a mention has been misclassified by the AI, use the appeal link on the mention.
